Das Schwimmbad wartet auf Euch! Kommt schnell!

What we did for Dan on Father's Day...

...we took him shooting at the Range!
Now, him and Jason have been there before, but I haven't! And we took Kristy along also who hadn't been there. Now, Kristy knows how to shoot. I don't! But guess what...we both have .38 Smith and Wesson's Revolvers! Now how fun is that!!!And here is the proof that I can shoot! 5 of 10 - not bad...it was even better when you know the second round was 4 of 5!!! With the .38 Revolver.

And with the "Bushwacker" - First time shooting it...4 of 7! Hah!!!
Now Kristy and I have to have our fun too...

...look what happens when you have "Overdues"!!!

I can just say, it was hot, the sun was shining, and we have red arms. The Gnats where flying...oh, no, they were crawling on our arms...so it's time to go home.

Vatertag in Amerika!

Da ich ja immer vergesse wann Vatertag in Deutschland ist muss sich Papa damit abfinden das wir ihn 2x feiern...Die Jungs in Deutschland und die Maedchen in Amerika! Papa, da musst Du halt naechstes Jahr im Juni mal in Texas sein, oder in Massachusetts?

Besuch des Capitols in Austin mit Mr. Bush...2 mal!!!

Papa hat immer spass und lacht sehr gerne!

Hah, und dass machen wir am liebsten, fern sehen und Kuchen essen....Papa und ich...seufz!

Jason visits Jaeger in Abilene!

So, who is more excited? The Dog or Jason?
Jason came for a visit last night and is spoiling the dog again.
They have way too much fun.

This morning we drove to the park, Redbudd Park, to go for a walk. While we are waiting Jason made poor Jaeger stay in the car and not move. He kept sniffing the air for all the smells that are there. He was pretty good though and didn't jump out until he saw May Bee!

No holding! I have to greet her. Haven't seen her in a long time. Good Morning!

Checking out the Prairie Dogs! Jaeger was pretty good and didn't jump in, what we can't say from MayBee! Poor Kristy had to pick her up and out and then keep a tight hold on that dog as she tried again in vain! (Disclaimer: No Animal was hurt or killed taking these pictures!)

Saying "Good Bye" for now! Jaeger is pooped and almost falls asleep on the 10 min. ride home :-)

One Month to go! 30 Days!!

So, as Tiffany reminded me the other day, today is the one month mark to the wedding!!! Hah, are we ready for that one? Really, is Tiffany ready to be Ms. Bush? She knows it will be her taking care of Jason then. Oh, well. They have been together long enough and ought to know what life will bring.

And the days will be counted now...quicker and quicker it will go. The big day will be here sooner than you think.

What are the last items on the list to do? Someone better tell us soon :-)

A Day in the Back Yard!

Oh, what's he doing now? Might there be a snack hidden in the shoes?
One never knows, could be cheese??? Please let it be cheese!

Oh, well, I'll just hang out then. Nothing going on anyways...except those birds are making a raked and I can't sleep. What is going on over there? And now what is going on over there?

Hmmm....maybe there is something important, like snacks? Maybe something to eat?

As you can see, our life now resolves around the dog. He is nothing but an over sized lapdog! When I'm in the lounger trying to read my book, I have to pet him the whole time or be sloppered up by Jaeger! So, as long as he is having a hand stroking him he is fine, but just don't let off or he'll jump up and lick you...what a dog!
