New bed for Jaeger

Look what came today!
Jason did order a new bed for Jaeger and we had fun showing it to him.
Does he just go in...yes, he does and he stayed in there with two doors open. We had to tell him to come back out. What a good dog he is. Nice brother to Jason...who will not get the dog back after all! We need something here in the house to remind us of him :-)

Snow Day again :-)

So, what are we doing when Tiffany, Jason and my parents are here? Well...were to start?
Besides shopping (I refuse to carry a camera) we do following:

Scrapbooking

Eggnoggin' (yes, homemade, with real eggs, and we are still kicking!)

Getting dogs to co-operate

Even for the group picture, well almost...they did well...the picture below was the last photo taken!

Can you make out all three dogs?
They are all there!

Watching the weather...this morning it was wet and the cars were iced!

And watching the snow come down at lunch and continue on and on!

We took some pictures of the dogs with Tiffany and Jason in the snow...

...and on the icy pick up!

They did get on the way okay, and it cleared up for them...after all, they are going south!

And of my parents and Jaeger after the Kids left!

Check the trees in the back!!! They are full of snow and it's cold, but my dad refuses to wear a coat, as he came to Texas to be in the warm sun :-)

Jaeger in the snow! Thanksgiving Day

Snow Pictures, Nov. 22, 2007! Yes, Thanksgiving!!!

Happy Snow!!!

Roof of the car...Dan is already cleaning it off before he is putting the car into the garage!

Jaeger is wondering about the white stuff...but soon he is trying to figure it out!

Jaeger is having a 'ball' in the snow...I'll try to upload a video also!

"Doggy-feet"

Hummingbird feeder
Solarlights...they won't light tonight!

My tomato plant...Wonder how frozen tomatoes taste...will the green ones turn red with the next sunshine???

Happy Thanksgiving! (with periodic updates today!)

Wishing you all the best Thanksgiving feast ever!
As my parents are here I have lots to be thankful for, and I don't have to do all the cooking this year as we are invited to our friends who do most, so more thankfulness here!
It is also nice and cold...now I wished we'd stay home and start a fire in the fireplace...but there is always the evening :-) and I am looking forward to that. Hope Dan is also, as he has to make the fire. He has already collected wood, but I think it needs some cutting!
Pictures will be posted tonight, after I make some. Can you believe my parents have been here since Tuesday and we haven't done pictures yet...oh, well...it will happen.
Maybe I'll snap a picture of the cheesecake I made yesterday, and the cookies I'll make in a little while, oh, and the Egg Nogg I will make in a bit also?!
What a feast...all sweet!
Looking forward to the snow!
While my dad and Jaeger watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade (Macy's)...

...and I do some baking and cooking...(who would take a picture of me?)

...my mom is stitching away on her table cloth!

Dan, Jason and the Dogs :-)

Jason and the Dogs on the picnic table. Poor Jaeger had to share his Throne with the other dogs...now, the question is - did they jump up or did they get handed up?!
Jason, who spoils Maggi now ?

The Dogs!

Jaeger, Rhowdie & Maggie

You want to see how the 'brothers' are doing...

...click on the video above and you are in for a treat :-)
Poor Maggie, the little sister has to stay out of their way, but she enjoys all the attention (from the humans). What fun it is to have all three dogs get along so well, even if Maggie rather stays on the side and watches!

Just pictures...

Made this Fall runner last year. Love the colors, and Dan bought me the flowers...and they will last forever ;)Just finished this one! It will go on the table after Thanksgiving, when I am ready for Christmas!
Made this one last year, but just got it framed this summer, I love snowman and the snow for a day is fun :-)
Made this one this year also, need as much help as I can get getting ready for Christmas in the hot temperature...hence I like snowman cross stitched!
Made this one a couple of years ago...they do come in all sizes, especially in Texas where we might not have enough snow for a full size snowman!
The "B" and the Dragonheart were made for Tiffany and Jason this year.
My 'Celtic Summer' was finished this year also and is joining my 'Celtic Spring'.
Autumn and Winter are awaiting ordering :-)
Yep, finally did my 'Texas'! Sandra bought the pattern for me a while back (I think)!

Ferocious Rottweiler!

Here you can see how I spend my evening corralling the ferocious Rotti!
He just lies down and wants to be pet. I am not at all holding him down! Once I quit he goes to the door to go out...if it is after 9 pm, and goes to sleep in a corner, far corner, of the yard. When we call him to come in, he won't, as he is deep asleep! Dan has to go out with the flashlight to find him (black dog in a black yard) and get him in. He never really wakes up and just goes into his bed and sleeps...of course we can't get him out in the morning, that is when he wants to stay in...Go Figure!

And today Dan got this picture of the beast! Wanted to get him while he was sleeping, but he woke up and checked him out...maybe something good to eat was going to be on the way!!!
Poor dog, no such luck!
