The Dogs...part ???

Here we go again. It seems they like to come in at night and then they bother me until I start playing with them. Jaeger loves to just put the bone on my feet until I start kicking it. When I throw both toys into the same place they don't pick up each others toy. They keep looking for their own. Even if it means they run into each other.

This Morning!

So, my alarm rings and wakes me up out of the depths of my sleep! I click the snooze button and go back to dream land. 5 min. later - same thing again. I am sound asleep again. Snooze for the second time. Before it rings the third time I am finally awake and up and going. Turn on the coffee pot, make breakfast, sit on the computer, read newspaper, emails, drink my coffee. Check time as it should be close to getting ready for work...it's only 4:30!!! I don't get up till 5:30...what is going on??? Oh, all the clocks show 4:30...i am up 2 hours before i have to get up!!! What is going on???? My alarm is the only clock that shows the wrong time. Every thing else shows 4:30, my clock now shows 6:30...2 hours difference???!!! Oh, well, guess the battery is running out and instead of it going slower it goes faster??? Now what am I going to do? I am wide awake...but I guess the bed does call and I am going back for an hour and a half...am I going to trust that alarm clock though? I guess I better set the cell phone also...bummer! By then the coffee will be stale!
Well, good night for another hour or two...

Walk in the Park!

So we were going to walk early in the morning but...
...first some kids and dogs and husband had to get up,..then they had to have breakfast!

Pancakes, Eggs (heart shaped), and Bacon. Plates are decorated with Strawberries!

Then Kristy, and May Bee came over after their walk!

Then, finally, we are on our way!

Dogs checking out the Prairie Dogs enclave!

Hey, look at the athletes!

All upside-down!
After the first mile they are hanging around!
Jason is in the slide, yes he went down this way and Rhowdie is right behind him!

Now Tiffany and Maggie are trying out this slide!

Jason and Rhowdie are right behind.

And down the hatch!
And where is Jaeger?

Dan and Jaeger wait at a bench far away so the other dogs stop howling and wanting to play.

It takes all of us to get this picture staged!

And while Jason runs his mile in a minute, we are waiting and resting up!

Saturday with Tiffany & Jason

Jason and Tiffany came up for the weekend. So what do we want to do? Go shooting! Here they are laying out the arsenal. Then Tiffany gets to go first with all four guns.
She is doing very well, and then I get my chance...no picture of the  target, but I did hit a bull's eye.
Jason also gets to try his luck :-)
Here is Tiffany's target, or one of them! don't know why Jason smiles like that...he knows what he is in for!
Well, they are hungry after a few hours at the range, so here is dinner, Greek Chicken & Potatoes, Goat Cheese stuffed bread and green beans...yumm!
After dinner playtime with the dogs, here is Jason and Rhowdie.
And after a few tries we get the three dogs and three humans to sit on the table. Jaeger licking Jason and Maggie is checking out Rhowdie, the man in her life :-)
And then it's Shake time...Caramel Capuccino something or the other, toped with whip cream and chocolate syrup...another yumm, and tonight there is supposed to be an encore, we'll see!
You have to come back for Sundays "Walk in the Park" post to see todays pictures!

The Dogs Again!

Here are the dogs playing with Dan at 6 a.m. Man, what was going on with them? They were hungry, I believe, because I told Dan to feed them and they were quiet afterwards. Wednesday morning Jaeger was whining a bit, but stopped, and today there was not a tone to be heard when I was up. Guess Dan is now feeding them a bit more at night so they won't be waking him up!

Six Random Things

I've been tagged by ~Heather at Misadventures of the Dynamic Uno who left a comment on my posting about Germany in slides!

Here's the rules for those I'm tagging. Check the list after my 6 THINGS to see if you're it then:

1. Link to the person who tagged you.

2. Post the rules on your blog.

3. Write six random things about yourself.

4. Tag sixish people at the end of your post.

5. Let each person know he or she has been tagged.

6. Let the tagger know when your entry is up.

So, my random things about me...

1. I love to read, just about anything that comes across my hands. I didn't used too, but then my grandma got me a series of books I fell in love with and I haven't stopped reading. I used to have supscribtions to magazines, but I would have to read every story and every page, so I quit and only pick up books at work (oh, in case you don't know, I work in a library :-))!!!

2. My second intrest lies in cross stitching which I started back in N.C. in the 80's. Just small easy things, which have evolved into larger projects in the last 15 years!

3. And now I also like to scrapbook. Once I started that I redid all of Jason's albums and even made some for my 4 nephews and my god child. Now I am working on one from my mom's 70th birthday party last week. That will be done real quick though as it is only a small one.

4. It is hard for me to just start writing random things, but another thing about me is I like living in Texas! This is just a great place to live and we have enjoyed our last 18 years here.I don't miss having to put on all the heavy clothing and shuffle snow. Dan thought he wanted to move from Texas for a while. When I asked him where he wanted to move too, after a vacation up north, he decided it was better to stay in Texas. I love the sun, especially if I can jump into the pool, or stay inside with the air running.

5. I like dogs and rather have them then cats! I would like to have many more animals, but then I have to take care of them, and that I don't want to do! Dan did ask me once if I would like to have a horse, as I grew up with them. I told him if he would clean it, and the stable, I would love to, but if he was going to be gone all the time with his job, then rather not! I just don't like to clean up the mess...go figure!

6. Vacation, I love vacation. Would love to go around the world. There are still a few places I would like to visit, China, India, Australia, maybe even Greenland. But maybe I at least will get to the Bahamas next year. Planning a cruise for my 50th birthday present. Yes, I am giving it to myself. Actually I will pick and Dan will pay :-) Best of both worlds :-)

Hey, I made it, all 6 random things about me and my life...don't ask how long it took! But now I am done and I'll be tagging some other people now. Lets see who is going to follow suit here! You don't have to do it, but I am looking forward to see you follow these rules! And don't forget to watch the Vice Presidential debate tomorrow evening!

Tag you're it!
