Madison's Fiesta, or Madison's Make-Over
Here are the promised pictures from Madison's Mexican Fiesta!Kristy in the dunkin' booth...see video below!
and Dan trying to dunk Kristy!
and Dan trying to dunk Kristy!
Poor girl got dunked over 10 times in the half hour she was on the seat...that water was cold and she was freezing. It was fun for a while, but then it really did get kind of old, and cold!
She went home and emptied the hot water heater!!!
What a good sport...did I do it...NO WAY...those kids would have dunked me a lot more, there would have been a long line and much money :-)

Dogs...
Took the dogs out and introduced them to the neighbor lady. She hadn't seen them. And her sister was there also and wanted to see him.
It was fun, but hard work and Dan just stands there and takes pictures. What a guy :-)
And the swirl is Jaeger!
I have been working in the school kitchen the last two days. Thursday after work, I cut up pounds and pounds of chicken breast, no I didn't do it by myself, there was another lady helping and they had started before I got off work. But still...
Yesterday I rolled over 500 Beef Enchilada's from dipping in sauce, adding beef and cheese to rolling, covering and placing in fridge! There were three of us, and then there were groups who made Beef and hot stuff Enchilada's, Cheese Enchiladas, & then I helped with Chicken Enchiladas.
Well, we hope to serve over 1,000 meals today for a fund raiser put on by our school. There is also going to be a dunkin' booth, face painting, auction, cake walk a.s.o.
It'll be fun. And no, I am not in the kitchen today, I will be taking pictures and then the kids will get them next week. Oh, yeah, they have to pay for them :-)
More updates later!

Yesterdays pictures and video!
Look at all the flowers...I am talking about the ones behind us! :-)
Just had to take a picture with Mama and the dogs, yes, we let Dan in also :-)
Our Indian Hawthorne is in full bloom and we do like all the bees flying around!

Poor dogs think they are going for a walk, and we just wanted to take a picture. So, we took them up and down the road and they thought they had a walk. We were to busy going shopping!
Jaeger didn't want to go the same way as Rhowdie, he had started the other direction and that's where he wanted to go. But we did get him to join his buddy and Mama!
Look, his walking is getting better, the leg seems to start healing!

Boston - Sunday - Freedom Trail
Click and watch our Tour Guide!
So, Sandra says take the red line "T" and go to Park Street. When you come out you are at Boston Commons and the Visitor Center is right there.
No problem, we found it without a hitch! But when I looked back to the place we came out from this is what I saw...just a little hut with a sign over the door that said "Entrance"! But what is the 'Entrance' for??? There is no sign what so ever! You just have to know it!
Just follow the "Red Brick line" on the road and you will follow the Freedom Trail! Now, every now and then you'll see this Medallion.
"Granary Burying Ground" -
We actually found the Resting Place for "Mother Goose"! or so the lore says...
Besides these two there are also stones for John Hancock & Paul Revere.
In front of the First Public School we found these "footprints" inlaid in the ground, right in front of the Donkey.
So, in this picture I am standing on the prints and butt head with 'it'!
"Old Corner Bookstore" they took the side down and advertise what they are selling now, jewelry!
Works by Dickens, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Howthorne, Longfellow & Tennyson were published here in the mid 1800's.
Hmmm...not on my map! This place just looked cute and had cobblestone road. We are still following the "Red Line"!
Paul Revere House, and no, we didn't go in!
Bunker Hill Monument, oh, well, no...we just finally met up with Clayton and Sandra, now we are on our way...it is behind Clayton, but not very visible.
I must be shrinking!!!
Hah, back in Quincy, VA. Sandra had pulled the chair over to watch TV, but then she had to get up and bake a cake. When she came back Cinnamon, the cat, had taken over the chair and curled up on it...so who's the Boss???!!!
Sandra finally did get herself another chair to sit on :-)
View of Boston from the sofa...yes, I didn't even get up and cross the living room! Big time zooming action!
Yes, Clayton did cook for us. He made Braised Lamb Shanks and served them with potatoes and carrots. Yumm! we had a good dinner, poor Sandra was not eating any of the lamb, she had her own "meat"!
And here is Sandra's participation for dinner...she made a Rhubarb cake after my mom's recipe. Yes, it also was very yummy, and she only needed minor help from me!
Sandra, you now know what 'Gustin' is, right...bought any yet? (Cornstarch)
