The Germans have invaded Texas!

After work on Friday I drove to Ft. Worth's Hulen Mall and found my brother and Lion waiting :-) My parents and Johanna (nephews girlfriend) were shopping!

We drove to Round Rock to visit with Jason.

On Saturday the girls went to a Bridal Shower for Tiffany (pictures in a few weeks).
Then we went shopping and waited for the rest of the family to arrive via Houston in Round Rock. They finally made it around 8:30 and after visiting with Jason and Tiffany for an hour we headed back to Abilene (were we arrived at 1:30 a.m. dead tired, but healthy).
Sunday morning Dirk got alerted by his 'Handy' that it was someones birthday...well, we had an impromptu celebration for him. As he loves to go to Golden Corral and we always shot down that request, we took him out for Brunch! Get there for breakfast and stay for lunch!

Check out that plate. It is cake, fruit, and, you won't believe it, shrimp! Good order must be Sandra's brother (check out her blog and read what she is eating!!!)

We had a great waitress and when she learned that Martin had a birthday, we got a song out of it too!

After shopping, where we took no pictures, we headed to the back yard pool and had some fun with the birthday kid!

The pool was full.

Lion on Dirk, and Dennis on Peter are having a competition!

And then we ate dinner...full table and luckily Lion was asleep as we barely fit us 12 around the table...but it would have worked with Lion also, we all would have scooted a bit more together!

So, that was the first three days with people at my house. And where do they sleep? Everywhere!
